Professional Orientation of People with Disability (PROD)

Introduction:

This project is implemented with the assistance and the financial support of the EU Leonardo da Vinci Programme (LdV partnerships). A Leonardo da Vinci partnership is a framework for cooperation activities between European organisations working in the field of vocational education and training (VET) which will be cooperating on themes of mutual interest to the participating organisations.

Duration: 

 2 years (August 2011- June 2013).

 

Objectives:

• Implementing a methodology for professional orientation of people with disabilities in participating countries in order to help them to overcome the barriers to access to vocational education.
• Developing a common perspective suitable to partnership structure which is based on problems solving and disseminating good practices.
• Increasing awareness through posters, brochures, web & media tools.
• Developing institutional capacities of each partner organisation.
• Improving language, professional & cultural competences of staff, students & beneficiaries of the project.
